Contrib Statement Email Feature (Full Fund Detail Report)

Post by WAGC »

This January is the second time, at least (we did contribution statements every 4 mo. in 2005, and plan to do them quarterly in 2006), that I have had problems with the "Full Fund Details" contribution statement report. I used the contribution statement email option and only printed the statements that couldn't be emailed.

BUT, the detail ONLY appeared on the ones that printed out; the ones I emailed only had fund totals and pledge info. (no weekly details). I've looked on the Power Church forum and found someone that had this same problem, but the "answers" are all things I've tried. I HAVE the current maintenance release. And I DID reindex all files. Please help! Thank you!

This is a problem with the Crystal Reports files. The workaround was posted in another thread, but I'll repeat it here. If this is what you did, but it didn't work, try it again - following each step in order:

1) Rename the following folders:
C:\Windows\crystal to C:\Windows\crystal_old
C:\Program Files\Seagate Software to C:\Program Files\Seagate Software_old
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions_old

2) From the PowerChurch program directory (typically C:\PowerChurch\PCPLUS9) find the "Install" directory.

3) Inside the Install directory, run the following files in this order:
pc9cr85.exe
pc9cr9.exe

Yay -- the problem is fixed! I have experienced much frustration over this. I wish I had asked on the forum earlier. Anyway, thanks so much for walking through the steps to resolve this issue.
