Sample Activities/Skills Listing

Post by fstuart »

Does anyone have a completed Activity/Skills listing that they would be willing to share? I am setting this up for the first time, and I am confused about numbering, etc. I would like to see one that is fairly complete and logical.

Thank you.

Peter,

what I have may not make sense to you either ... however, if you have specifc questions on numbering, ask away ...

I set ours up BEFORE PowerChurch had the settings for member, teacher, chair, etc, so mine need to be "redone". Is there a quick way just to delete all the skill codes from individuals AND delete the definitions so I can start over. Basically we had to do a lot of stuff to give one person a skill code for Teacher AND for being a MEMBER of a class AND to be able to generate just a list of Teachers or members.

If you just go into Maintain Descriptions and delete the description, that will both delete the description and remove that activity from the individuals.

thanks jeff! when I get mine redone, I wouldn't mind sharing it. Can we upload attachments here, or is there a way to look at "documents", or do I just need to cut and paste from a report saved to a text file?
