Our church is using PowerChurch ver 9.0 on two computers, one of them offsite. We want to start doing payroll on one computer, and the rest of accounting on the other computer. Is there a way to do this and keep the accounting sychronized on both computers?
Thanks in advance

Re: Backup question
Yes you can, but it won't be easy. If someone is doing changes on one computer, while the other is also having changes done, you can get out of sync really easy.Pat wrote:Our church is using PowerChurch ver 9.0 on two computers, one of them offsite. Thanks

Much easier to keep it on one computer. FWIW ... we have a person who is not on staff that is designated Treasurer, they do all the major accounting work on the system and payroll. Our church admin does the minor bill entry and payments only.
That may be an option.
