Photos Missing from Group E-mails

I'm using the latest version of PC and have no problem inserting a picture into a single e-mail from the Personal Profiles. However, when I attempt to send a GROUP E-mail and insert a picture, the recipients receive only an "X" in a box where the image should be. Anyone have a solution?

The individual e-mails will work fine going through Outlook or Outlook Express. But the group e-mails are going directly to SMTP and seem to strip the pictures even with HTML activated.

As you noticed, the mass email module does not use an external email program, which is how you are able to insert a file on single emails. It uses a simple SMTP module that does not allow the inclusion of any picture or photograph in the body of the email, however you should be able to attach the picture as an attachment, which is on the advanced options dialog screen that follows the create email dialog.
