Sudden feature failures

I'm the new pastor of a church that has been using Power Church Plus 7, and I'm not familiar with the software. However, my secretary tells me that Selected Transactions reports will only run year-to-date, Account Activity reports will not run and starting in April, the software will not post Fund Accounting entries. These features seem to be dropping out, with no correlation to any system changes or any other software changes on the system.
Any suggestions for troubleshooting or solution?

Hi George,

Just wondering if your system is up to date? The latest maintenance release for version 7 is dated: 01/02/2003. You can tell if the system is up to date by using the HELP pull down menu, selecting 'About Powerchurch', and then clicking on the System tab to see the program date.

The only reason I can think of that the reports no longer work is that you've moved to a newer operating system, that is, from Win98 to WinXP, and the system may not have been updated to the last Maintenance Release.

FWIW ... Version 7 is now 2 versions behind, as Powerchurch is now on Version 9.0. Powerchurch is no longer maintaining changes for version 7, and the new features in Version 9.0 are well worth the upgrade price.

We've been using PC+ since version 7.0 and have been very happy with the product and the support we receive via this forum from the staff and other users.
