Version 14 - 09/06/2023 Maintenance Release

A new Maintenance Release dated 09/06/2023 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 14.

PowerChurch Online servers will be updated automatically overnight. For PowerChurch Online users, no further action needs to be taken.

This Maintenance Release includes the following:

General

• Fatal error referencing Crystal2.run_report line 108
• Use LibreOffice before Microsoft Office to create DOCX, ODT, XLSX, and ODS files if both installations exist
• Unknown Name error in PowerChurch Today

Membership

• Quick Tagging in Family Mailing List and Personal Profiles errors with property Value is not found.

Fund Accounting

• Import Accounting Transactions doesn't group properly and imports a transaction for each detail line

I have tried to download the installer multiple times yesterday and today with no luck. Is there an issue with this Maintenance Release?

I was eventually able to download it directly from the PowerChurch website, but not from my PowerChurch application.

The MR installer file is quite a bit larger than it used to be. We have seen a few computers where it "gives up" in the middle of trying to save the downloaded file. We're working on a solution for that.

Currently, if you have this problem, the workaround is to manually download it from https://www.powerchurch.com/mr
