I've been experimenting and trying to figure out the answer on my own, but I might as well just ask...
Is there a default phone number format for the membership reports? Like, if I just enter in 2125551212, will it turn itself into (212) 555-1212? I've got some volunteers working on data entry and want to give them the correct format info so that I don't end up having to go back and tweak the formatting!
Also, if there is a default, is there a setting for that? So if I wanted to have 212.555.1212 as the format, could I do that? I don't, but I like knowing how many variables I get to play with!
Thanks so much. We've been using PowerChurch for about a year now, after an ACS meltdown, and we love it. I was the only one who could get useful data out of our ACS system, but everyone here picked up the new program right away and I don't have to do so much hand-holding!

Re: Phone number format
There is no default format for phone numbers, I believe the database has it setup as text, so you can use (222)222-1212 or 222-222-1212 or 222.222.1212 . I always have people enter 222-222-1212 with the dashes, as it cannot be confused with anything else like amounts, etc.sttims wrote:I've been experimenting and trying to figure out the answer on my own, but I might as well just ask...
