I run PCP with latest MRs on WinXP SP2 using a P4 3.5GHz machine. I prepared third quarter giving statements to be emailed within PCP. While I asked for full details to be sent, and indeed, that is what prints out for those of our congregation who do not have email addresses listed, what has been sent to my contributors is a very bare summary only.
Did I miss something in the email options that would have sent the full report? I find I can't attach a PDF file that represents what was sent.
To recap: Want to send email contribution statement with full details instead of one with a summary. What are the steps to do this?

Did you create the reports using the 'print if no email' option ??SJCFinance wrote:I run PCP with latest MRs on WinXP SP2 using a P4 3.5GHz machine. This is a weird little problem with Crystal Reports. Here's how to fix it:
1) Rename the following folders:
C:\Windows\crystal to C:\Windows\crystal_old
C:\Program Files\Seagate Software to C:\Program Files\Seagate Software_old
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions_old
2) From the PowerChurch program directory (typically C:\PowerChurch\PCPLUS9) find the "Install" directory.
3) Inside the Install directory, run the following files in this order:
pc9cr85.exe
pc9cr9.exe

Right. Running those files reinstalls all of the Crystal Reports files.
Actually, that would happen automatically the next time you run a report in PC+, even if you didn't manually run the pc9cr files. You would see an "Updating runtime components" message flash on the screen, then the report would come up.
Any error messages that happen at that point are suppressed within the program, so if something goes wrong, such as the user doesn't have permissions to install things on the local computer, you would only see the error message if manually running the pc9cr install files.

Don't see any sign of pc9cr9.exe
When I look in the Install directory I see pc9cr85.exe, but pc9cr9 isn't there. Now what? Trying to email reports to people has created a few problems so I'd like to get it to work right.
