I am new to PC, and read in the owners manual where I can update my fund accounting after I have entered contributions. I am able to post them, but then have to go re-enter the depost in the accounting module.
Why is "Update Fund Accounting" selection - grayed out when I try to post the contributions?
"Update Fund Accounting" is not available. V10

I have run the accounting setup (I thought) becuase I am already entering/processing account data. The second reason why post to accounting might not be enabled is that none of the contribution funds have debit and credit accounts setup. During the accounting setup assistant, did you specify how to setup your contribution funds? If so they should have had debit and credit accounts in CO funds setup. Go to contributions -> Maintain List of Contribution Funds, check the debit and credit accounts for each contribution fund.
