Re: Pocket PowerChurch for iPhone
We currently access our office computers and log in to Church Plus remotely through gotomypc.com. If our Pastor carried a tablet (Ipad or Android it shouldn't matter) wouldn't he be able to add notes and check contacts, etc? It might be a bit more tedious than the one step he is looking for but wouldn't this work? Nancy

Now that there are GoToMyPC apps for the iPhone or Android tablets, you can definitely access Powerchurch using this method. He'll actually have access to more information than with the old Pocket Powerchurch application.fpchurch wrote:We currently access our office computers and log in to Church Plus remotely through gotomypc.com. Not to mention he can enter any updates directly into the system, and not have to 'sync' later on.

If you are using PC+ online you should be able to access your information with nothing more than your browser. iPhones and Itouches would seem to be a challenge to me due to the size of the screen, but an iPad should work pretty well.

they're using the local version, not PC Online. FWIW ... I'd rather pay the $149 upfront when I have a networked system than the $455 a year. For smaller churches, the local version is cost-effective.
Myself ... I'd like to have full control of the data, and not have to worry about if the Internet is down due to a storm with phone or cable lines pulled down.
Call me old fashioned

Neil,
I agree and I realized that a local copy was being talked about here. I was just making a comment for those who are in fact using PC+ online. But then they may have already known that.
