Combining Contributors

How do I combine or link two contributors. For example two individuals with separate personal profiles get married. How do I link them without making a new entry and deleting the old two. I just want to make sure their giving history is saved and linked to the new name. I have people that are in there multiple times because I don't know how to do it, so they get multiple reports of their giving history at the end of the year from the various names they are under.

You can use the Reassign an Envelope Number option in Contributions to merge the two envelopes together.
