Recategorizing a family member to head of household

Post by BGUMC »

We have a former teenage family member with his own envelope number whose category I would like to change to a new head of household. I tried entering his name and address with a new envelope number in the Integrated Data entry portion of the program, and then reassigning the old envelope number to the new envelope number. However the reassignment wouldn't work because the system returns the error message that the new number is alread in use. I don't care which number he has; all I want to accomplish is having him show as a separate Head of Household. We're using Powerchurch 11.1

1. Open the new Mailing List Profile you created.
2. Delete the new Personal Profile you created with the new envelope number.
3. MOVE the person's original Personal Profile to the new Mailing List record.
4. Change the Directory Sequence number on the Personal Profile to 1

There you go, new separate household.
