Change Registration Number

Can anyone tell me how to change the registration number in Power Church?

Our church started a new ministry that has now become its own church. We were doing their accounting under our church's registration number and have recently ordered them their own copy of Power Church.

We are going to be installing the new software on their computer. I need to back up my current file and then restore it on their computer. Is there a certain way to handle the install so that their new registration number is used and not ours?

If you make an Accounting Files backup, it won't contain the Registration Number or anything else outside of the Accounting system.

If you need to transfer more information other than accounting, go ahead and do it, then give us a call in Technical Support at (800) 486-1800 and someone will help you change the RN in the database.

Yes we will be backing up everything, membership, accounting, etc.

Okay so I simply need to install the program, restore the backup and then call you.
