Family Grouped Report

Post by dgross »

We like to edit the Family Grouped Report, so we save it to WORD. When we print from WORD, the page now cuts off about 2/3 of the way down. What used to be a 40 page report is now 60 pages. We have tried making changes in page set-up, but it doesn't help.

Also, on one of our computers, all reports printed directly from Power Church print in tiny little print. They will print OK from WORD, or if sent to a printer at another station.

We use PC v.9 and Windows 2000 & XP on a network.

There was a MR posted today dated 8/8 that should fix the Word export problem. I am not sure if it will address the small font issue though.

The MR fixed the export problem - our membership secretary is very happy.

The tiny font problem persists, and it has only recently developed - probably with the last MR. Very puzzling, since all other programs print fine, and PC prints fine to printers at other stations.

I have not heard of any problems in relation to font size. Can you tell us more about the enivornment? ie, What type of printer is this? Does it look this way on the screen or just on when printed on paper? If you temporarily change the defalt printer to another printer, does this change?

Family Grouped Report (Font Size)

I am using a Dell 1700 laser printer. My co-worker has an HP 2100. My reports look fine on the screen, and print fine when I direct them to her printer.

I did temporarily set her printer as the default, then changed printers to print a report on my printer, and it printed normally. Very strange.

Have you set her printer as the default printer and printed directly to it from your system? Does this produce the small font problem? Do both workstations have the same version of printer driver installed? Are both workstations the same OS?
