Tracking Attendance Numbers

Post by ChristUMC301 »

Looking for verification...there is nowhere in PowerChurch where we can track total counts for our services?

We use pew pads, will soon change to cards, but we never, NEVER, get everyone to sign in. I've done a bit of searching through the forums and the answer seems to be that, no, PowerChurch will not track the total count, only the individual person. That is disappointing. Churches always need total counts for accurate averages and denominational reporting.

I understand that individual records are needed to for proper pastoral care, but having a total count seems like such an easy additional option to offer. Having a separate spreadsheet to track total counts should be unnecessary. I realize it's not hard nor does it take a lot of extra time, but we chose this software to streamline our records and workload, not add to it. :wall:

This is something that is planned for the next release of the software, but currently, you are correct. There is not a way to record attendance counts.

That's good to hear! Will this be a feature of PowerChurch Online as well?
