Pastor's W2

Post by angel1 »

Good morning,

We are using Powerchurch 11.5 and I have a question about the Pastor's W2. We pay the social security for the Pastor and have it set up according to Powerchurch, should I go back and add the offset social security contribution into the salary, or is that amount already considered since it is coded as income?

If you have the Social Security setup as INCOME in the system, then it will appear in the proper locations. You can verify this by running the Payroll Item Summary Report, check the print by employee box, then total the amount in salary and Social Security offset. This should equal the W2 amount
