What do Accountants need for Year End?

Post by MVA »

Hi,
Last year my accountant had a very difficult time working with the program.

What to you do, when taking the year end to the accountants to make it easier for them? How do you direct them, to get the info transferred to their program?

Thank you,
Debby

There's no direct way for them to inport the data. You could export the Accounting files to an ACCESS database using the export utility under the Utility menu. Then they could see about using that to import, but other than that. Ask them what reports they want to see, and print them off.

Frankly, in all the churches I have used Powerchurch, we've never used an outside accountant for anything other than the yearly audit, and we provide them will all the information they need from Powerchurch. Then we have to remind them that this is FUND Accounting, not Accrual or business accounting.
