General Funds and Special Funds

I put a general funds contribution into the computer that included some special funds items in the deposit. I had already completed the deposit and posted it before I realized there were some Special funds checks in the deposit. The deposit was already deposited at the bank and I already posted the contribution on the computer. The computer shows the contributions to the special funds accounts but the money went to the general funds bank account. I have tried to fixed this numerous ways and it doesn't work. What should I do?

I don't understand. If Contributions shows the funds for the special (restricted?) funds when you posted contributions the transaction created would have properly credited the income accounts.

Please explain what you did when you 'put a funds contribution into the computer' ??
