It's a mapped "a" drive! A 2.5" diskette! Why can we restore from it, but not back up to it?

Is this a duplicate of one posted elsewhere under utilities ?? FWIW .. its not going to get answered any faster 8)

Myself, I have an idea, but its in the other forum.
