Please help. We just started using the Acctg section of PC+ (V9). We are trying to print a computer generated check using blank Laser Top Check (2 stubs) formatted checks. Is there a way we can set PC+ up to print our church name & address as well the bank's information and bank account number on the check? Or do we have to order preprinted checks with this information already on it. Right now our checks come out looking very bare bone with nothing but the payee's info, check #, date and amount. We were previously using VersaCheck which prints all this info on a blank check.
I didn't set up the Acctg section of the system, so I'm not exactly sure it was initially set up correctly. I'm hoping PC+ has some way to do this since most churches (including us) print checks from several different bank accounts; therefore need the system to print the bank account # on the check. I guessing we may need to re-visit the Acctg setup.
Help!!!

Print Bank Acct Number on Check

Re: Print Bank Acct Number on Check
You can do some of this by setting up a Custom Check layout. The way to do this is beyond this forum, but I would start with page 339 in the Version 9.0 manual.pgbuie wrote:Please help. However, I'm not sure if it would allow you to print the bank account number on the check. Usually that is pre-printed at the bottom of the check using the 'magnetic' ink. However, what we did, was order pre-printed checks with all the data already on the check.
Much easier to do, and less troublesome.
