F2 key stopped working

Post by ChrisH3040 »

I went to add contributions this morning and for those members who don't use their envelope, I usually hit the F2 key and begin typing their name. The cursor then moves down the alphabetical list to their name and I hit enter. For some reason, the F2 key doesn't do this any longer. Any suggestions or ways to correct?
Thanks,
Chris

I've not heard of any changes to stop this, what version of Powerchurch are you running, along with the date of the last maintenance release you installed? This will definitely help the guys at Powerchurch to give you some advice.

It may have been a bug in the last MR, and that info will help.

I just verified that in v9 & 10 the F2 key is still functional on the Enter Contributions screen.

You may want to check that your keyboard does not have an "FLOCK" or "FUNCTION LOCK" key. If that is off, all F_ keys will stop working.

Also make sure you have not recorded a macro for the F2 key. Macros will override the default key handling. If you don't have any macros that you use normally, delete the pc.fky file located in your PowerChurch Plus folder.
