I'm kind of new at the reporting side of PowerChurch except for the canned reports and we are using version 10 - but I do love the reports. What I was wondering is it possible to take say the Income & Expense Statement that reports by account groups ie: salaries by the different pastors and change the report to include only the salaries portion of pastors with the various ministries that we have set up.
example: Our Campus & Post Grad Ministries is all set up using accounts 7800 - 7899, but the pastors salary etc. shows under accounts 5105 etc.
Is there report that I could edit to have his salary costs etc. all show up under Campus & Post Grad Ministries? I would need a report where I could show Period Expenditures, Annual Budget, Budget to Date, Actual to Date, and Last Year to Date.I 've looked at the custom reports but they don't seem to be able to have the information that I need.

Using sub-account numbers
You could code the pastor's sub account number the same as the group you want to show him with and run that report separate..
Example change his account number to 5105-100, then change the ministry account numbers to all have the -100 extension. You can then run a report on the -100 sub account numbers.
