Exclude printing statements with no address

Post by MTZDetroit »

Help!

We send out about 3000 statements this time of year. We are able to email about half of them but the rest we must snail mail. The Contributions Reports allows us to print the statements that were not emailed but there are a good portion of those statements that do not have address information.

It would be great to have the ability to not have to print those statements that do not have any contact information (i.e. address, phone, email).

Does that sound like something that is possible?

Running PC11 at MR 7/12/2010.

Are many of these 'no address' contributons for less than $250 ?? Up to $250 you really don't have to send a statement, as the IRS only requires written statements for $250+. You can exclude these from printing by using the Select People by Amount Given option and entering 249 in each box.

Right now there is no built-in way to exclude printing those without addresses, however, you can sort by zip code and those without addresses would be bunched in one area.

Developers: Maybe a wishlist item ??

BTW: There is a new MR out that you may want to apply. It doesn't affect this, but takes care of other items.
