Payroll

Post by Ada676 »

Hello! We are now having ADP, a payroll service, do our payroll. What would my transactions now be in Power church? Especially to be able to keep track of numbers for the budget and when running reports.

I was just going to run payroll but the amounts don't line up. Taxes are different on Power church then the payroll service. Doesn't look like I can override the tax amount. Or I don't know how to do it!

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Taxes are different because ADP may use weekly or monthly tables, whereas PCPlus uses the annual. As far as entry, you'll have to create manual checks, so they should send you copies of all the stubs, and you will need to enter each deduction on the check.

If they're also doing all the tax forms and cutting checks, then there's no need to do this in payroll, just in AP as manual checks.
