We're having a bit of trouble with the parish guest house... Between reservations, payments, and conflicting Excel spreadsheets, we often end up getting confused. We're looking for a cleaner way to keep track of everything without having to re-enter everything ten times. I've come across tools that synchronize availability between multiple platforms, a bit like what professional rental companies use, but I'm not sure if it's worth it in our case or if it just complicates things. What I'm looking for above all is a simple method, even a homemade one, as long as it's clear for accounting purposes and we avoid duplicates.
If anyone has found something that works well (or at least “less badly”), it would be a big help. It doesn't have to be perfect, just something that will work in the long run. Thanks in advance.

Have you thought about the events module in PCPlus? It can be used to reserve 'room's, I'm guessing it can be also used for your reservations too.
