Default Search Filter
Is there any plan to create a default filter in Maintain Family List? It would make viewing much simpler if we could set a default filter of say ACTIVE. Then all deceased an, inactive, transferred members will no longer be listed. It would make updating and reporting so much easier.
Re: Default Search Filter
There are such filters in many reports, as far as the actual input screens, in v14 and higher (I forget if this is available in v12 or not), there is a square button at the top of the input window. If you click on that it will display the list of members currently on the database.SusanCPower wrote: ↑Tue Feb 24, 2026 11:34 amIs there any plan to create a default filter in Maintain Family List? On that side list, at the top right, there is a FUNNEL icon, click on that and you can then select what Mailing Category (on the Mailing List window), or Personal Status (on the Maintain Personal Profiles window) you want to see in the lists.
Unfortunately, I don't think it can be made a 'default' selection currently, but then it only takes a few seconds to select what you want to see for that session. You can ask that such a default setting be added by sending an email to 'wishlist@powerchurch.com', include what you want to see, why it will save you time, and how it will aid the majority of Powerchurch users in that email.
