Sunday School Records and Prospect List

I have recently started keeping records for our Sunday School. I have a monthly attendance list with all members on it that I print out at the first of each month. My problem is it has every visitor that has been in the class is also printed on it. I have deleted the visitors and when viewing the list they are no longer there but reappear when printing.

Also I would like to create and maintain a "prospect" list of all SS visitors but can not seem to figure out how to do this.

It appears that they have been assigned to the Sunday School permanently, you have to delete them from the activity using the Maintain List of Attenders function under the Activity module:

To get there from the menu select Membership -> Activities & Skills -> Maintain List of Attenders .. go through the list in the left hand column and remove the visitors.

As far as maintaining a 'prospect' list, you can create a separate Activity for that and track them under that new activity.

Here's a good tutorial. its based on Version 9, but the basic workflow still works the same.

I'd also see if the copy of the Powerchurch manual is available, and follow the directions there. It contains full directions, as well as screenshots of the Powerchurch dialog boxes you'll be seeing. Much easier to follow than me trying to steer you blindly through the system
