Message for Contribution Statements

Hi..
I have just taken over PC 10.4 from a person who left. I re-installed PC and have all my names and necessary related contribution items in place.
PROBLEM..
I have a message that I would like to appear on every contribution statement. I can insert the message, but it doesn't get saved from one session to the next.
I need to have it permanent. As I am new to PC, I can't seem to find a place on any menu option to create a message for contribution statements that will be permanent.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you might be cancelling out of the process before actually generating statements. When you complete the process and the statements come up on the screen, the message will be saved.

Thank you so much... You're right.. as there are no real contributions and just names, when I hit, ok, it states that there are no records. So, when I do start to enter contributions this Sunday, I will complete the process and it should be ok..
