I setup a custom check layout and everything looked fine, until I printed the first check and now have two problems:
1. Where the amount of the check should print out (custom layout box says "Check Amt"), instead it prints ******* where the numerals should be.
2. Where the words of the amount should print out, it cuts off the words. For example, One hundred and two prints out as "One hundred and."
Help, please!!

Re: Custom Check Setup NO AMOUNT
Clarification:
Template says "Ck Total" where amount should appear, but check print ************ instead of numbers.
Template says "Ck Words" where amount in words should appear but is cut off.

Re: Custom Check Setup NO AMOUNT
Trouble-shooting custom layouts is a little tricky, because custom layouts are more of an art than a science.
Is there a reason why you can't use a stock layout?
My best guess is to ask if you shrunk the field manually while you were laying out the check design.
Second guess is that your printer has margins setup that are cutting your fields off short.

Re: Custom Check Setup NO AMOUNT
As John suggested, the most likely problem is the field is sized too small.
