Split Contribution calculation based on pledge

Has there been any thought how to enter a payment with a pre-determined allocation based on a donor's pledge?
We have 3 funds that a person can pledge to. Hypothetically, a person pledges $3,000 a year, split evenly among 3 funds or 1/3 to each fund. To record each payment made by that donor I calculate the allocation offline so I can record the payment in PC.
Hence when I enter a check for John Doe for $30 I look up the allocation % in an Excel worksheet that I created when I received John Doe's pledge earlier in the year. Then I record the $30, using Excel to split the $30, $10, $10 and $10 to each fund.
I am sure there are other churches who pledge to 3 funds, ie Local Mission, Wider Mission and Building Funds and if for example there are 100 pledging unit allocating in many different ways, you cannot remember every allocation.
My question is, has PC considered a way to record the allocation of a payment to match the allocation of a pledge without an "offline work around"? I have been told it does not exist, but have there been any other request for this feature?

This does sound interesting, but the in the churches where I've used PCPlus and done contributions, most times this information is either written by the contributor on the check or on the envelope.

Could this be done? Probably. My suggestion is to email wishlist@powerchurch.com to add this request to the wish list of requested features.
