10/08/2014 - Version 11 Maintenance Release

A new Maintenance Release dated 10/08/2014 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 11.

The program will automatically download and install this update by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release, or you can manually download and install the Maintenance Release installer by visiting http://www.powerchurch.com/mr in your web browser.

This Maintenance Release resolves the following issues:

Personal Profiles

  • Long parent names are cut off on the Detail Layout Church Directory
  • Long names are cut off on the Profile Pictorial Directory

Activities & Skills

  • Current Officers report includes future officers (mailing labels, report, e-mail)

Contributions

  • Cannot reverse a contribution a second time in Personal Profiles
  • Monthly Contribution Totals report should include envelope # 99999
  • Monthly Contribution Totals report - September column header wraps to a new line
  • View Pledges list on Enter Contributions is not sorted by date

Fund Accounting

  • Add New Donor Restriction does not warn about Contribution Funds with no accounts assigned
  • Sub-Account report account selection logic is strange with budgets and zero activity
  • Journal Report should show selected date range as subtitle
  • Can't make an account inactive if its close to equity account is inactive

Accounts Payable

  • 1099 Vendor List ignores date range selection

Accounts Receivable

  • Customer state not available in AR custom reports
  • Customer name and address should be read only if linked with Membership
  • 9 digit amounts are rounded off and 10 digit numbers are cut off on reports
  • Account Statement report does not format church name, address, and phone properly

Payroll

  • Other Time Rate should accept from 0.10 to 9.99

Events

  • Users that do not have Membership access can see Personal Profiles from the Task List
  • Users that do not have Add/Change/Delete rights should not be able to add/delete people on a task
  • Google Calendar Sync has been redesigned

General

  • User background images are not backed up
  • Ignore invalid birth date (year 9999) in background checks
  • Two digit year/century rollover settings removed. Now use this year+10 as the rollover point
  • Check In menu options are not available in Quick Tasks
  • New user profiles should have "change password" and "backup files" permissions set by default
  • Audit Log Reports - Event text is cut off if longer than one line
