12/08/2015 - Version 11.5 Maintenance Release

A new Maintenance Release dated 12/08/2015 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 11.5.

The program will automatically download and install this update by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release, or you can manually download and install the Maintenance Release installer by visiting http://www.powerchurch.com/mr in your web browser.

PowerChurch Online servers will be updated overnight, so PowerChurch Online users need not take any action to receive this update.

Special Note for PowerChurch Online Users:

A new IDS Client update will soon be published for Windows users which resolves some known issues and also adds DPI scaling to the IDS Client. This means that if you have large fonts enabled on your Windows computer, PowerChurch Online will now scale properly. It also allows Windows Themes support, so the program will look more like current generation Windows apps. The IDS Client update will be gradually released across each of our servers over the next few days and will download and install on your computer automatically when ready.

A new IDS Client for Mac users was published back in October for El Capitan compatibility. Visit http://www.mypowerchurch.com to download and install the new Mac client if you have not already done so.

This Maintenance Release resolves the following issues for all PowerChurch users (both desktop and online):

General

  • Visual styles, colors, and icons updated across the entire program
  • PowerChurch Plus is now DPI aware and should scale text and fields according to Windows display settings
  • Calculator button in Accounting & Contributions now launches Windows Calc if possible

Membership

  • Country field lengthened to 30 characters

Accounting

  • Fund Accounting advanced posting options should maintain currently selected month
  • 1099-MISC form updated for 2015
  • Payroll time off calendar control updated
  • W3 form updated for 2015

Contributions

  • Import Contributions - Unapply from pledge is ignored
  • Import from Vanco - Donation date is now determined by Settlement date, rather than Processing date

Events

  • Task reminder e-mails generates an error
  • Calendar control updated

Equipment Inventory

  • Adjust Equipment Values form is not wide enough to contain dropdown list
