08/29/2018 - Version 12 Maintenance Release

A new Maintenance Release dated 08/29/2018 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 12.

The program will automatically download and install this update by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release, or you can manually download and install the Maintenance Release installer by visiting https://www.powerchurch.com/mr in your web browser.

PowerChurch Online servers will be updated automatically overnight. No further action needs to be taken.

This Maintenance Release resolves the following issues:

Activities & Skills

• When adding new members to an activity, default the checkboxes to unchecked to avoid accidentally adding everyone

Contributions

• New setup option to include title in Envelope Name formula (John Smith vs Mr John Smith)
• Unposted Contributions report can error in specific scenario

Fund Accounting

• Income & Expense by Year report can show blanks in certain scenarios

Accounts Payable

• Open (Unposted) Items report - Widen transaction detail to show full account name and line description

Accounts Receivable

• Duplicate customer IDs causes error in upgrade from prior versions
• Import Customers can assign invalid customer IDs in certain scenarios

General

• External backup utility creates a backup labeled as Version 11.5
• ISBN Lookup errors when no results were found
