08/15/2012 - Version 11.5 Maintenance Release
A new Maintenance Release dated 08/14/2012 has been released for Version 11.5.
The program will automatically download and install this update by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release, or you can manually download and install the Maintenance Release installer by visiting
in your web browser.
This Maintenance Release resolves the following issues:
Membership
- Family Update Form disregards selected sort option
- Active/Non-Active Profiles report does not refresh properly
- Active/Non-Active Profiles report treats reversed contributions as active
- Added age to Selected Dates report if selecting on birthdate
- Move profile to new family hangs if already 99 family members
- Adding Attendance data from Maintain Personal Profiles will error if date is outside of filtered date range
- Lifetouch Church Directory export doesn't include family e-mail address
- Error message when click Find button on the Attendance tab of Maintain Personal Profiles
- Background Checks controls available for Adult = blank
- Intelligent Mail Barcode mailing label - barcode too close to name for USPS specs
- Resize picture in HTML e-mail does not work properly
Activities / Attendance
- Added Date Joined selections to Activities reports
- Incremental search does not work on Fast Data Entry existing attendance data display
- Date range selections not working properly on reports (this year, year to date, all dates)
Contributions
- Suffix not included on Contribution Statements
- E-mail Statement List report does not include family e-mail
- Can't select by Fund Type on Contribution Mailing Labels or Graphs
- Contribution Range report allows you to delete all ranges, then errors
Fund Accounting
- Detail Changes In Equity does not work properly with “Include zero activity accounts” selected in certain circumstances
- Added option to include inactive accounts on Check Register By Fund report
Accounts Receivable
- Changed functionality on the Maintain Credit Memos screen (see Help file for information)
Payroll
- After latest update of Adobe Reader, PowerChurch no longer recognizes a program is registered to open PDF files
- SSI wages report above the yearly cap on W2 & 941
- Void a check in Payroll uses current account setup instead of original transaction
- Added Today button to Time Off Calendar to return to today’s date
- Having two state tax types for the same state will combine the amounts on the W2
- Added Department & Position to employee Lookup lists
- Should not allow duplicate Tax Types
- Item Summary and Quarterly report truncate the item name, should show all 25 characters
- Payroll Setup Assistant now skips tax table setup steps if user is in Canada
- Menu Item renamed from Unposted Payroll to Modify Unposted Payroll
- Unposted transactions should not be included in all Payroll reports
Events
- Added room number to room list in Add New Event
Custom Reports
- Pay Group field added to Payroll custom reports
- Directory Sequence field added to custom reports in several places
07/25/2012 - Check In Maintenance Release
A new Maintenance Release for the PowerChurch Check In system has been published, dated 07/24/2012.
There are no longer separate installers for kiosk and server components. The kiosks will update automatically after connecting to the server the first time.

This release contains following fixes:
- Built-in web cams don't consistently work
- Added a message to inform user when kiosk update fails
- Added a message warning that a bar code was already assigned to someone else in the family
- Service failed to start for any reason is now tracked in the Application Event Log
- PDF manual and CHM help files are now updated on the kiosk after Maintenance Release updates
- Express Check Out expects multiple bar codes for a person in multiple activities
- Filter characters are not automatically cleared on the Check Out screen
- When filtering on the Check Out screen, it is possible for the wrong notes and/or picture to show for the selected person
- When adding a new family, the "Mr & Mrs" and "and Family" preferences are not being followed
- When adding/updating a family, there is no "Preferred Name" field
- On screen keyboard does not appear in the Express Check Out / Reason for missing bar code = Other field
- On screen keyboard redesigned for Add New and Update Existing Family screens
- On screen keyboard TAB key now skips past buttons and dropdown lists
