Mapping a Network Drive in Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10

This article is part of a series - Networking Instructions for PowerChurch Plus. If your workstation is not Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10, go back to the main article and click the appropriate link for Workstation Setup for your Windows version.

Mapping a network drive is only required for PowerChurch Plus Versions 10.4 and prior. If you have Versions 11 or higher, you can skip this step.

To map a network drive:

  • Open Computer or This PC.
  • Click the "Map Network Drive" button in the toolbar.
  • Choose an available drive letter, such as P (for PowerChurch!).
  • Enter the server/host Computer Name and PowerChurch share name like this:

    \\ServerName\PowerChurch

You are now ready to run Netsetup. Return to the Networking Instructions for PowerChurch Plus article and continue on.
