Why doesn't my Income and Expense By Month match my usual Income and Expense Statement?

In order to provide as many reports to our users as possible, we've added several new reports in the Fund Accounting module of PowerChurch Plus 9. One of these new reports is the Income and Expense by Month. This report will show you a month by month break down of the total amounts posted to your income and expense accounts as well as giving you a total for the year. Each account listed is rounded to the nearest dollar and then subtotaled based on that amount.

For example, the Income & Expense By Month report might show a total of $7,349 in income, while the Income & Expense Statement shows $7,348.85.

The Income and Expense by Month report was created for those individuals who usually want to see a summary for the year. Another reason for rounding the amounts was simply to conserve space so the report is easier to comprehend and will fit on one page.
