PowerChurch Online - Cannot connect on port 491


The PowerChurch Online client connects to the data servers through port 491. If you do not have access to that port you will receive a message saying that PowerChurch cannot connect on port 491.

Since port 491 is not a standard port it is possible that many firewalls will have it blocked, denying access to PowerChurch Online.

You will need to talk with your network administrator to resolve this issue. They may need to open that port to access the internet, or possibly add the IDS client as an exception to the firewall on port 491.
