Check Reader Question

I was wondering if someone could give some feedback regarding the check reader option. Currently we have a Chexpress Cx30 which we use to make deposits to the bank, would this type of check reader work with PowerChurch Online?

Note that the reader must be able to send clear, ASCII text in the format given in the article. If the only way to do this is to change the programming, you may break your bank setup.

It looks like that model is purely an image scanner and doesn't have a MICR reader, at least the user manual on the manufacturer's web site doesn't mention MICR capabilities or programming tools.
