Whenever I run a report, the following pops up (clicking OK makes it go away, but I don't understand what's causing it to occur):
Error: 2061

Re: Error 2061
Have you downloaded and installed the latest Maintenance Release?
http://powerchurch.com/mr
If the latest Maintenance Release is properly installed, your program date should be 5/11/2009.
To check this, go to Help > About PowerChurch Plus > System Information tab.

Re: Error 2061
Yes, I did, as soon as it was available.
(Forgot to say I'm running PowerChurch 10.4, maintenance release 05/11/09.)

Re: Error 2061
This is a problem that only affects Windows 98 & ME, so I am going to venture a guess that you have one of those two Operating Systems running on this computer.
For everyone else, this issue should have been resolved on the 5/11/2009 Maintenance Release. We just missed the Windows 98 thing.
For the time being, the only option for those that are still getting the error message is to download and install the 10/27/2008 Maintenance Release. This will overwrite the changes that were made in the last couple of releases. The next Maintenance Release will resolve the issue for the remaining few.
I have e-mailed you a link to download the older MR.

Re: Error 2061
Oh dear, trust me not to make it easy for you! lol I'm not running Windows 98 or ME on this desktop computer.
My Computer -> Properties -> General reads:
System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, Service Pack 3
HP Compaq dc7800p Small Form
Intel(R) Core (TM)2 Duo CPU
E6550 @ 2.33 GHz
1.98 GHz, 1.97 GB of RAM
Should I still go back to version 10/27/2008, or just live with the error until the next maintenance release? It doesn't seem to actually do anything, other than appear (almost) every time I run a report. I ran several reports to screen this morning, and the error didn't appear every time, and I couldn't detect a pattern (e.g. not in a particular program module).

Well then...
Before installing the older MR, give us a call at (800) 486-1800.
Obviously, we need to figure out what the issue is before we can fix it for you in the next MR.

I sent you an e-mail with a link to the 10/27/2008 Maintenance Release.
The next Maintenance Release that is published will resolve the issue for you. For the time being, install this older release.

Re: Error 2061
We are having the same trouble on one of our computers on our network with this 2061 error message. We are running Powerchurch off of a server and only one computer is giving us this error. Do we need to install the last years maintenance release or wait until the next one is released?
Re: Error 2061
FWIW ... It sounds like its only that one computer, and the report giving that error could be run and printed at another computer. I wouldn't back up to the older MR for one system.Justine Loker wrote:We are having the same trouble on one of our computers on our network with this 2061 error message. That said, here's a question. Does that computer have a local printer setup as the default ?? If so, have you tried setting another shared printer on the network as the default to see if the error still occurs ??
