Report asks me to save as a document

Got a question or comment about PowerChurch that doesn't belong anywhere else? Why not post it here!?

Report asks me to save as a document

Post by dmckenney »

After running several reports in a row for individual contribution report Powerchurch suddenly asks me if I want to save it as a document. If I select NO it does not open the report, if I select YES it saves it in Word. Once I restart Powerchurch the reports will open as normal again. But after about 10 reports, it starts trying to save as a document again.

Are you calling each member up then printing them separately ?? This may be the reason its happening, but as for why I can only speculate.

Bug .. buffer too full ??

Just a question, why aren't you just running the All Contribution Statement report and filtering out those you don't want to print ??

yes, I was calling each up separately. The reason I'm doing one at a time is I am going through a list of names that can possibly be deleted, so I need to see if they have a current giving record.

If you're basing this list on whether they have given this year or not, you can do a ALL CONTRIBUTIONS report, and then filter any non-givers out by using the built in selection criteria.

Are you actually printing each report or just viewing them??

As Neil would say FWIW - you can view a list of non givers by running the Selected Contributors report. Enter a giving range of 0.00 in each field and then select a date range. This will give you a list that you can compare with the list you are considering for deletion.
