11/08/2017 - Check In Maintenance Release
A new Maintenance Release for the PowerChurch Check In system has been published, dated 11/08/2017.
There are no longer separate installers for kiosk and server components. The kiosks will update automatically after connecting to the server the first time.

PowerChurch Online users will be updated automatically and do not need to install Maintenance Release updates.
This update fixes the following issues:
- PowerChurch Plus Version 12 compatibility
- Honeywell scanner includes an ending character that should be ignored at Express Checkout
- With onscreen keyboard, you aren't able to enter notes at Admin Checkout or Class Roster
- Check Out list requires two clicks to check a box
08/30/2017 - Version 11.5 Maintenance Release
A new Maintenance Release dated 08/30/2017 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 11.5.

Family Mailing List
- Attendance Summary Graph doesn't expand/collapse by name
Personal Profiles
- Attendance Summary Graph doesn't expand/collapse by activity type
Contributions
- Fund Descriptions report will error in certain circumstances
Events
- When many events exist, the calendar control can cause an error
General
- Custom Check Layout can be set to a tractor feed layout when no tractor feed printers exist
- Backup & Restore - Restore list of backups shows date, but not time
- Many additional DPI scaling improvements and fixes

This Maintenance Release resolves the following issues:
Personal Profiles
- Profile Notes field is not available to query in custom reports
Attendance
- The Visitor Report combines data if family names are exactly the same
Contributions
- Negative fund numbers should not be allowed
Fund Accounting
- Import Accounting Transactions - Reference is truncated to 10 characters
- Delete Account validation shows incorrect message when account has a beginning balance
Accounts Payable
- Quick Add Vendor created with invalid Priority value
General
- Encrypted data fields (passwords, etc.) are limited to 36 characters
- E-mail validation - require something in between @ and .
- Replace some older controls in the program
- Fixed some alignment/onscreen display issues on large font DPI screens
08/11/2017 - Office Closed Monday 8/21/2017 for the Solar Eclipse
Our office in Asheville NC is just outside the zone of totality where the solar eclipse is best viewed. We would like to give our employees the opportunity to safely travel and experience the dramatic full effect of the eclipse, therefore we have decided to close our office for the day. We will reopen Tuesday for our regular schedule, starting at 9 a.m. Eastern. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will also take advantage of this possibly once in a lifetime event.

04/17/2017 - Check In Maintenance Release
A new Maintenance Release for the PowerChurch Check In system has been published, dated 04/17/2017.
There are no longer separate installers for kiosk and server components. The kiosks will update automatically after connecting to the server the first time.
This includes major updates to both the server and kiosk. The server component has been completely replaced with a new control that is faster and more reliable than the previous server control. We initially rolled this update out to Check In for PowerChurch Online users earlier this year without issue. However, it is strongly recommended that you install the update and allow time for testing prior to your first check in event.

We have had several reports of AVG and Avast triggering false positive virus warnings about the Maintenance Release installer over the last week or so. Below is a link to a VirusTotal.com scan of the Maintenance Release installer file, which reported virus detection in 0/61 antivirus engine scans. If you get a warning from your local antivirus software, be sure to update the scan engine and virus definitions and try again.
