12/22/2014 - Check In Maintenance Release


A new Maintenance Release for the PowerChurch Check In system has been published, dated 12/22/2014.

There are no longer separate installers for kiosk and server components. The kiosks will update automatically after connecting to the server the first time.

PowerChurch Online users will be updated automatically and do not need to install Maintenance Release updates.

This release adds the following new features:

  • Phone number lookup
  • Include medications and medical conditions on labels
  • Option to print a parent label even when activity does not require check out (Applies to only Check In for PowerChurch Plus Version 11.55 and PowerChurch Online users)
  • Option to print a separate parent label for each child


This release fixes the following issues:

  • Accented characters in names are not displayed properly and can cause errors
  • Restart service is required when changing to a new PowerChurch program directory
  • Personal Status Code selections don't apply to Check Out list
  • Personal Status Code selections don't apply to bar code lookup
  • Dell Venue compatibility
  • Date format (m/d/y vs d/m/y) not respected by the server
  • Move Attendee does not record attendance
  • On-screen keyboard cannot edit allergies/conditions/medications
